Spring Break - Disney 2009
Disney trip, March 2009. We started off in Epcot to see the Flower and Garden Festival. Then briefly stopped by Hollywood Studios (MGM), which was a complete zoo! After waiting 30 minutes in line just to get lunch, we headed to the Magic Kingdom. Then had a magical afternoon and stayed until the very last second!
Spring Break - Universal
Jeremy and I took a trip to Universal, as usual. Then we spent the next day at Disney - Epcot's Flower and Garden festival, a short visit to MGM and then the evening at the Magic Kingdom - just in time for fireworks!
Spring Break - Englewood and Myakka
Spending a couple days with my parents down in Southwest Florida - an afternoon at Stump Pass in Englewood, and a picnic at Myakka State Park on a drizzly afternoon.
Valentine's Day in Florida
We spent the weekend at Universal and saw Frankie Valli perform on Valentine's night! It was a really great trip back to Florida, and we loved being back at Universal. We even visited Sneetch Beach, where Jeremy proposed! Hard to believe that was six months ago already! Valentine's Day was also the third anniversary of our first date!

December Florida Visit
Lizz visited Florida for a week in December to see her family and visit with her best friend.
Lizz's 24th Birthday - Casa Bonita
Jeremy and Lizz go on an adventure to Casa Bonita, an infamous Mexican restaurant in Denver. Also - Jeremy surprises Lizz with a fiesta in their apartment!

Dolphins vs. Broncos
Jeremy and I bought tickets to the Dolphins game and had a blast watching them beat the Broncos! We made some friends with fellow Dolphin fans, and a few polite Bronco fans as well. It was a great experience, and I was so glad to be able to take Jeremy to a game!
Elitch Gardens - Fright Fest
We visited Elitch Gardens, the local theme park, for their Halloween celebrations. We rode some really scary rollercoasters (and we're both rollercoaster fanatics, but these definitely pushed even OUR limits), and had fun in a really great Haunted House. See if you can find my look of terror after riding the Minderaser - quite possibly the scariest coaster I've ever been on!
Eldorado Canyon, Colorado
It was a chilly morning in Eldorado Canyon, but Jeremy and I had a great time exploring. We played around on the rocks near the canyon's stream before becoming too cold. We went off in search of sunshine and warmth, and found both on the Eldorado Canyon trail. It was a steep incline on the way up, but it was worth it for the beautiful views of the canyon!
Fall in Denver
Pictures start with flowers that Jeremy gave me for my first day of grad school, then also include pictures of my office at the University of Denver and the fall colors around Denver.
The Stemms visit
Touring my parents around Denver, including the Buffalo Bill Grave/Museum and the Denver Art Museum.
Wanda and Eric's Wedding
My cousin Wanda married Eric in Mesa, Arizona. There was a lunch for family members at Rosa's restaurant, and then a reception for everyone that evening at her friend's house in at the Foothills. The last day in Arizona, my parents, Jeremy and I went exploring at South Mountain Park just outside of Phoenix. It was a fun weekend, but very hot!
Heritage Square, September 2008
On my last weekend of freedom before classes started at DU, Jeremy and I headed to Heritage Square, a small theme park just outside of Golden, CO.
Our Apartment in Denver
A tour through our new apartment in Denver! Keep in mind that this is still a work in progress - we still need more furniture and we've barely touched the office/music room yet. Plus, we still have lots of decorating to do for our bedroom.
Garden of the Gods - Colorado Springs, CO - August 2008
For our first excursion out of Denver, we headed south to Colorado Springs to check out the Garden of the Gods. It ended up being a rather short trip due to some threatening storms heading our way, but we'll definitely be back again.
The Move - From Florida to Colorado

The Florida Keys - August 2008
During our last few weeks in Florida, Jeremy and I visited my Uncle Robin in Key West. Jeremy had never been before, so I gave him the tourist's tour of the island, including frozen chocolate-covered Key Lime Pie on a stick and the Sunset celebration in Mallory Square where Jeremy became part of the act. We also took a boat ride out to Cook Island and spent an afternoon at Bahia Honda State Park.
Engagement Weekend - August 2008
For our second anniversary, Jeremy and I visited Universal Studios. We've made many trips over the past two years with our season passes, but this one will always be my favorite trip. Why? Because Jeremy proposed!
